Hot-Press Grade Boron Carbide
Hot Press Grade Boron Carbide (B4C) powder is engineered for hot pressing, where heat and applied pressure densify the ceramic in a single firing. This material is typically coarser than the sinterable, submicron B4C powder and the added pressure from firing closes porosity. GNPGraystar holds strict particle size and chemistry parameters for optimum hot-pressing results and offers powders with or without a sintering aid.
Hot press B4C is available in a wide variety of sizes and purities. Contact our team with your application and we will work together to find the best solution.
